Hand-shaped crystal glass · Bavarian Forest

Beauty that brings joy every day.

Our glass flowers are made in the Bavarian Forest — one of Europe's oldest glassmaking regions. They are blown by a family workshop where the third generation now works at the same burners. German handmade craftsmanship that will last in your garden all year round.

Handmade glass flowers and designer solar lights turn any garden into a place you'll love coming back to every day.

In the Bavarian Forest, glass has been blown for centuries. It is a craft passed down through families — and it shows. Nothing here is cast in a mould and nothing is painted on afterwards. Every piece has passed through a glassmaker's hands, which is why each one is a little different from the next.

Hand-shaped crystal glass

Flowers that never fade.

Each flower is hand-shaped over a flame from solid crystal glass. The rich colour is set right into the glass, so it never fades or flakes off. It withstands rain and frost in the flower bed.

Our story

Six hundred years of glassmaking tradition.

The Bavarian Forest is one of Europe's oldest glassmaking regions. Glass has been blown here since the Middle Ages, and the craft is still passed down from father to son. This is where our flowers come from — a family workshop where the third generation now works at the same burners.

A rod of coloured glass is held in the flame, stretched and opened into petals. It takes just under four minutes and cannot be rushed. That's why we prefer fewer pieces and the certainty that they will last.

FAQ

Before you order

What you ask us most often.

Can't find your question? Write to us at cultuslab@gmail.com — we're happy to help.

Where do the goods come from?
The glass flowers are made by a family workshop in the Bavarian Forest, and the metal solar lights also come from German manufacturers. Nothing in our range is made outside Europe.
Will the decoration last outdoors all year?
Yes. The glass flowers are frost-resistant and can stay in the flower bed even through winter. The same applies to the solar lights — we just recommend wiping the panel occasionally.
Will the colours fade in the sun?
No. The rich colour is within the glass itself, not on the surface. It cannot peel or fade, even after years in full sun.
Do solar lights need electricity?
No. They charge from the sun during the day and switch on by themselves after dark. You don't need a cable or socket.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery takes 7–14 working days and shipping is calculated at checkout. Each piece is carefully prepared in a German workshop, so delivery times may vary depending on current stock availability and production workload. We send orders via DHL.
How do you pack the goods?
We carefully pack your order and send it with DHL, with an emphasis on maximum protection during transit. For padding we use eco-friendly packing chips made from biodegradable corn starch, so even delicate glass arrives safely with you. Express delivery is available by prior arrangement, with the price agreed individually.
Can I return the goods?
Yes. You can return the goods within 14 days of receiving them. Just write or call us and we'll help you with the return shipment.
Does it make a good gift?
Yes, it's one of our most frequently gifted pieces. We pack each parcel carefully, so it can be handed over just as it is.
